JippyVest is a simple educational calculator. This policy explains how this website handles information when you use it.

Information we collect

JippyVest does not currently require an account. Calculator entries are used in your browser to perform calculations. If you save a scenario, it is stored in your browser on that device.

If you use the contact form, you provide an email address, message, topic, and optionally your name so we can respond. Netlify processes and stores form submissions and filters spam. Submissions may also be sent to our support email through Netlify notifications. Please do not include passwords, account numbers, or other sensitive information.

Cookies and analytics

JippyVest uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.

Third-party services

JippyVest uses Netlify for hosting and contact form processing, Marketstack to retrieve stock quotes when you request one, and Google AdSense to display advertising. A ticker symbol is sent to Marketstack, but calculator position values are used in your browser and are not sent with the quote request. These services may have their own privacy practices.

Children's privacy

This website is not designed to collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy as JippyVest changes. The date at the top of this page will show when it was last updated.
